Film Distribution

The name of the trade body that oversees 96% of theatrical releases is called the Film Distributors' Association (FDA). Their role in the cinematic chain is to get the product from the filmmakers, and pass it onto the cinemas for the exhibitions and to advertise to the audiences. They are the trade body supporting, producing, representing the range of generic interests of the UK theatrical film distributors.
